We often hear that companies like yours value the breadth and depth of the OpenSesame catalog from which to choose courses. With over 20,000 courses from the world’s top publishers, we have the courses you need in the formats and languages you want. But, while it’s great to have so many options for your elearning program, it can be time-consuming to find new or popular courses, or browse for courses in specific topics.
Good news—we’re enhancing our entire search experience to help you quickly and easily find the courses you need. Starting this summer, you’ll see some of these enhancements in two areas of the OpenSesame catalog: the course category pages and individual course cards.
Course category pages
A simple way to browse courses is by category. From either the OpenSesame homepage or from within your LMS, click Courses, and then select one of the categories: Business Skills, Safety, Compliance, Technology, Industry Specific, or Certifications. We’ve improved these pages to save you time locating new and relevant courses so your elearning content stays fresh, and your learners stay engaged.
Improved navigation will help you to browse related topics, identify new and noteworthy courses, most popular courses, and more at a glance. And, if you see a course you like, you’ll be able to add it to a List with just a few clicks.
Course cards
The updated course cards will include new flags to notify you if the course is new or has been updated. In addition, non-English/American English courses will show the language of the course on the course card. For example, a course in Spanish will display a label showing “Spanish”. To quickly add a course to a List, you’ll simply click on the new Add to List icon on the right side of the course card, select the appropriate List, and you’re done!
Stay tuned over the next few months for more information on improved search capabilities—including finding courses in multiple languages, faster course recommendations, and more.
